    Summer Mentions Giveaway Terms & Conditions

     

    1. The promoter is: Southgate LP (Nominee 1) Limited and Southgate LP (Nominee 2) Limited each of 80 Fenchurch Street, London, United Kingdom, EC3M 4AE (the “Promoter”).
    2. The title of the competition is “Summer Mentions Giveaway”.
    3. The competition will run from 9am on Wednesday 11th June 2025 to 10am on Monday 1st September 2025 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
    4. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter via the entry method(s) specified at condition 5 by no later than 10am on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after this time are automatically disqualified.
    5. The competition can only be entered online before the Closing Date by:
      • following @southgate_bath on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/southgate_bath/) or @southgatebath on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/SouthGateBath
      • uploading a photo of yourself with the Summer 2025 Installation (referred to below) onto Instagram or Facebook; and
      • tagging us in the uploaded photo with the handle @southgate_bath on Instagram or @southgatebath on Facebook

    (the “Facebook Entry Method” and the “Instagram Entry Method” respectively).

    1. The Summer 2025 Installation can be found all throughout SouthGate Bath, including St Lawerence Street North & South, and SouthGate Place.
    2. There is no limit on the number of entries that can be made via the Facebook Entry Method and the Instagram Entry Method. Each separate photo uploaded with the relevant social media handle tagged (conditions 5(b) and (c)) shall be a separate entry into the competition provided that you are following relevant social media page (condition 5(a)).
    3. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
    4. The Promoter will not accept:
      • responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
      • proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
    5. By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    6. The Promoter will select four (4) individual winners at random from all qualifying entries. The four (4) individual winners will be selected on four (4) dates between the period of 30th June, and 1st September (inclusive) (each a “Selection Date”).
    7. The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
      • employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
      • employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
      • members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
    8. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
    9. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
      • automatically generated by computer;
      • completed by third parties or in bulk;
      • illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
      • photocopies and not originals; or
      • incomplete
    10. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
    11. There are four (4) prizes, and each individual winner will receive one (1) prize.
    12. One (1) prize consists of:
      • Part 1 – 1x £100 Bath Gift Card; and
      • Part 2 – 1x Buzz & Scuttle Art Print (from the artist who helped create the illustrations you see within the Summer 2025 Installation).
    13. Each prize can be collected from SouthGate Bath Management Suite, 12 Southgate Street, Bath, BA1 1AQ.
    14. Part 1 of each prize can only be redeemed at participating Bath Gift Card stores (a list of which can be found here: Bath Gift Card | Town & City Gift Cards UK).
    15. Part 1 of each prize shall only be valid for 12 months from the relevant Selection Date.
    16. Prizes are subject to availability. There is no cash alternative for the prize
    17. The prizes are supplied by SouthGate Bath.
    18. In the event of any dispute regarding the prizes the decision of the Promoter is The prizes are not negotiable or transferable.
    19. The Promoter shall not be responsible if any of the prizes are lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
    20. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
    21. The Promoter will contact each winner personally as soon as practicable after each Selection Date, using the social media handle provided with the competition entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.
    22. If you are a winner of one of the prizes, you will have up to 72 hours after being contacted pursuant to condition 26 to claim the prize and arrange for collection by responding to the private message on the relevant social media platform. If you do not claim the prize within this period, your claim will become invalid.
    23. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
    24. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact each winner. If a winner cannot be contacted, is not available or has not claimed their prize within 72 hours of the private message on the relevant social media platform the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries received before the Closing Date.
    25. The next eligible entrant selected pursuant to condition 29 above will have up to 72 hours after being contacted using the social media handle provided with the competition entry to claim the prize and arrange for collection by responding to the private message. If the prize is not claimed within the specified time period, the claim will become invalid.
    26. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
    27. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
    28. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the https://www.britishland.com/privacy-notice.
    29. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
    30. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
    31. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
