We've teamed up with Bath Carnival to bring shoppers a fantastic display of Mexican culture this month.
To celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival, seven giant multi-coloured skulls will be suspended above SouthGate's streets.
The festival is dedicated to the remembrance of loved ones who have passed away and is often celebrated with traditional marigold and ribbon adorned skulls. We'll be decorating St Lawrence Street North and South with 20,000 marigolds along with the skulls, turning it into the perfect Instagram opportunity this season.
What's more, we'll have colourful alebrijes - fantastical skeletal creatures - hidden around SouthGate to coincide with the festival. Can you find them all?
Join us on the evening of Thursday 1st November to enjoy the processional performance organised by Bath Carnival. There will be drummers and walking acts to mark the beginning of Día de los Muertos.
If you fancy keeping the party spirit going, join Bath Carnival afterwards for the first of their Bath Carnival Presents series. They'll be celebrating music and cultures from around the world, with a Halloween and Dub Reggae theme. The event will be held at Komedia and tickets are £10-15 - fancy dress is strongly encouraged!
