SouthGate Bath has a wide range of restaurants to suite everyone’s tastes. If you’re dining out with the family, here are out top picks:
- Giraffe is the go-to spot for parents who need to cover just about every taste under the sun. And they’ve got kid breakfasts of pancakes and even cereal, lunches of chicken burgers, pasta and pizza and delicious desserts featuring tropical fruit lollies and organic yoghurt pots.
- Thaikhun is all about authentic Thai street food including a £9.45 kids’ menu with chicken or veg noodles, pad thai, chicken satay, sweetcorn fritters and moo ping (skewered pork) with plenty of ice cream and mango sorbet. Drinks included!
- Prezzo is amazing for kids with pizzas, pastas, sorbet, chocolate dippers, cloudy lemonade and plenty more to choose from with lunch and dinner menus for adults including calzone, ravioli and burgers and grills.
- Comptoir Libanais is great for getting together with friends and family and their kids’ menu has cheesy tomato flatbreads, chicken wraps, a mezze adventure platter (hommos, natural labneh, vegetable sticks, flatbread and falafel), drinks and ice creams from £5.50. Franco Manca is also a crowd pleaser with delicious sourdough pizzas for all and kids’ pizza, drink and an ice cream for £8.25.
- For a fun day out (where even your dog can come too), Brewdog has kids’ toasties, mac’n’cheese and chicken nuggets all served with fries, salad and soft drink for £6. Go for a hoppy meal for £8.75 and get a drink, milkpop and awesome activities too! Keep an eye on their calendar here as kids often eat free in the holidays.
- Cosy Club is a great place to enjoy some downtime with brunch, lunch and dinner from 9am. Order a kids’ cosy breakfast for £7.50 (Cumberland sausage, smoked back bacon, hash brown, egg any style, beans and buttered toasted sourdough); tomato pasta rigatoni with San Marzano tomato sauce from £6.95 and vegan burgers for £7.50.
- Pizza Express is also a great place to go with dough balls, pizza, pasta or salad, a dessert, a bambinoccino and a Piccolo Activity Pack for £8.
